A notable benefit of our Operational Office Team is that the majority have done, and can and still do on occasion, the job of the drivers. We believe that this makes for a greater understanding of what is required by the client, allowing us to see and understand how a client’s request can be best served.

ABOUT US
OUR
DRIVERS
In addition to our Office Team, we value all our drivers who make up the P&S Bird Team.
At P&S Bird, we prioritise safety, skill, and environmental responsibility for all our HGV drivers through a comprehensive training program. Each of our drivers is required to hold a Driver Qualification Card, earned by completing 35 hours of classroom instruction over a five-year period. As a FORS Silver accredited company, we go above and beyond industry standards to ensure our drivers receive ongoing, high-level training.
Our drivers also participate in the Safe Urban Driving Course. This course includes a practical component where each driver experiences the road as a cyclist, for a deeper understanding of urban road safety. Additionally, our drivers attend LoCity training every two years, which focuses on economical driving strategies that reduce emissions and fuel consumption through defensive driving and efficient route planning, supporting our commitment to sustainability.
